The natural hot spring pools were the best part for me, such a relaxing way to start and finish the day. The hotel felt like a traditional Guatemalan three or four star place. Beds were very comfortable, and although the rooms were dated, they were nice and clean. The central location was fantastic, and the staff were friendly and spoke English well. Could easily have been the highlight of our trip to Guatemala.

The hot spring was a lovely way to unwind after excursions, and the beds were super. Breakfast was good, and the staff were great. I stayed two nights and was really happy with everything. Some parts may be dated, as others have said, but it's well maintained.

The hot springs were the big draw: two large pools, clean and hot, with relaxing music. Ring the bell and staff turn on the water. There's also a massage and sauna for an extra fee. The room was huge, very clean, with a large shower and two toilets, yes, two! Drinking water refills were available several times. It's on the main Street, a 9 minutes walk to the ferry. Shampoo, showergel and soap are provided, but there's no AC or hairdryer. Amazing hotel for the price.

The mineral hot springs and ping ping table were great, and the lake and night life are close by. It felt safe, and the staff were very friendly. The odd part was that the four of us couldn't share one room with two full beds, so we had to buy two rooms. Not a big deal, just strange. I'd go back in a heartbeat.
