Preston W.
Winston was such a kind, warm gentleman, and he looked after us so well. We're an overlanding family who drove from Texas, USA, down to Honduras. This was one of our stops, though we hadn't planned to stay here because our reservation elsewhere fell through. A festival had blocked off the streets, and we were exhausted and hungry when we finally called the hotel. Winston pointed us to some quick food and helped with last-minute prints we needed for crossing the Guatemalan border into Honduras the next morning. He also made sure our coolers had fresh ice that evening, then served us a wonderful breakfast. Our child with Autism and his brother had a great time catching geckos around the hotel's Plaza. Our car was safely parked inside the Plaza, behind a locked gate. It felt like a light in the wilderness. They had a room with five beds, so after squeezing into small rooms and beds on our budget, we could all spread out and sleep well. Thanks so much to Winston and the wonderful staff!
