The courtyard gets lovely sunshine, lighting up the plants, many of which have useful purposes. My room was very clean, and Jake and Andrea were amazing hosts. We had plenty of pleasant conversations about all kinds of things.

Andre put together a list of things we could visit in Guatemala and shared lots of tips for getting around. The owners were very helpful and so, so nice. It’s a cozy place with everything you need, including an equipped kitchen. I totally recommend it.

Jake and Andrea are relaxed, enjoy chatting with guests, and give great service for a good price. I really liked staying with them and would definitely stay again if I come back to Quetzaltenango.

Friendly owners who speak fluent English, which can be helpful. The rooms and kitchen are clean, and the place is simple. A dorm bed at 40q a night was definitely good value.
