We couldn’t get the car out the next morning because the people at the place where we’d been told to park weren’t there and couldn’t be reached. We waited over three hours and lost half the day. Our room was directly above the restaurant and bar, and music made it so noisy late into the night that we could hardly sleep. We’d also been told there would be hot water, but it barely warmed up, which was uncomfortable in the cold weather. The place itself is very nice, but we didn’t have a good stay.

I stayed for a few months and got so comfortable that I didn’t want to leave and find a real apartment. It’s clean, spacious, beautiful, and convenient, right at the corner of central park. The bars downstairs make it a bit noisy, but the staff are kind and helpful. It was a great stay, and from what I saw, the price beats anywhere else in Xela for this level of quality.

The falafel plate I had was delicious, fresh, and generous, and the staff were kind. You’ll find this little cafe up the stairs at the Adrenalina Tours entrance in Paisaje Enrique, though it’s a bit odd to get to. There’s seating inside and a lovely balcony looking toward the hills. They usually play hip hop. It can get a little loud if you’re trying to work, but the evening vibe is nice. Great for coffee, lunch, or sunset drinks.
