We were treated very well and had a very nice stay. The colonial-style house has spacious rooms across two floors, and it's a pleasant neighbourhood to walk around. The main square, museum, and cathedral are eight blocks away, with markets and shops all around. Having laundry nearby was convenient too.

The quiet location in a calmer area helped us feel safe walking around even after dark. The place itself is beautiful, with wonderful rooms and clean bathrooms. The showers have real hot water, not an electric shower head. The manager and staff were great, patient with my occasionally broken Spanish and very helpful. I only wish breakfast were a little more substantial. Some fresh fruit would make it feel less like an afterthought. Still, this is a five-star stay for me.

Breakfast was nice each morning, and the service was kind. The rooms were basic but clean, and the WiFi was reasonable. There were around three parking spots for guests with cars. We had to pay in cash in 2011, so be ready for that unless the policy has changed.
