The people were friendly, and it's a nice place, but some details need work. My room on the second floor had cracks in the false ceiling that made it look like it could come down on me. The water pressure in the bathrooms, especially the shower, wasn't adequate, though there was hot water. Fix those things and it would be a perfect 10.

It's very peaceful and quiet, a good place to rest, and the staff are really kind. The facilities look lovely, although a few things need repair. I was let down because the restaurant, parking, and remote control service they'd offered beforehand weren't provided.

The rooms were excellent for both the view and a good night's sleep, and breakfast was good. I spent two nights here, and the affordable price made it even better. The Wi-Fi doesn't reach the whole hotel, and there were a few other minor issues, but they didn't take away from my stay. They made our visit to Xela extremely enjoyable, and I can't recommend the place enough.

It's quiet here, and I found the second-floor rooms the most acceptable. The downstairs rooms are small and a little dark. The bungalows are the interesting option.
