Birdsong fills the day here, with the ocean and huge baobab trees all around. The place has a traditional, authentic look and a really calm feel. The staff made us feel at home, and we'd happily return anytime. Highly recommend.

Mimi, the owner, was wonderful, and the staff were welcoming and attentive from the moment we arrived. They helped us arrange some great excursions, so every day had something adventurous in it. Between the culture, nature, views, delicious food, and good atmosphere, there’s a lot to enjoy here. We’d happily recommend this hidden gem.

I stayed for a month and loved every minute. The pool is incredible, and there’s private access to a beach where you can swim all day. Every room has amazing views. The lodge is in the Bijagos archipelagos and was one of my favorite places in West Africa. The owner and staff provide top service, the food is excellent, and the excursions were amazing too.
