The bed was comfortable, which matters most to me since I need a good night’s sleep. The rooms aren’t soundproof, though. The service and stay were adequate, and the staff seemed new or still in training. Hopefully they’ll improve with a bit more time.

Everything was there, and it all worked. My balcony was so tiny I couldn’t even step out. For what I paid, the room was worth about half, though being in Georgetown may be the reason for the price. The Marriott in town was asking $473 a night for one person in a single room. Ouch.

I stayed for a week after my cousin’s funeral and would stay here again. The security was pleasant, and the customer service was very good. Miss Paulette went above and beyond to accommodate us. We’d booked for Friday but didn’t arrive until about 3am, so they let us stay past noon on departure day to make up for it. Thank you all. The hotel is new, in Grove EBD, right on the public road, and felt very safe. There’s a dialysis center downstairs. My room had lovely art design on the ceiling, and everything seemed new. The bed was excellent, and the blanket, sheet, towel, washcloth and hand towel were all clean and white. The refrigerator worked well, and there was an iron and ironing board. The kitchen counter was nice, with cups, plates, cutlery and a kettle. We had breakfast, including a Guyanese special, bake and salt fish. The only problem was that the shower water didn’t come through at full strength. I also felt the foot of the bed needed a mat.

It’s decent for the price. The rooms were spacious, clean, comfortable and air-conditioned, though the bathrooms need redoing.
