Mingle At The Eden

The one good thing is the location, in a central area near bars and party places, with lots of young people around. Beyond that, the building is old and the rooms are dirty. There was no bottled potable water, and humidity was visible all over the room, including the mirror, floor, bathroom, and bed sheets. I really doubt the sheets are cleaned properly. I hadn’t stayed in this kind of hotel before. My friend booked it, and I regret not checking what it was. You get what you pay for, I guess. I won’t make that mistake again.

The room and sheets were clean, and the location was convenient. But the rooms are small and close together, so expect noise and bring earplugs. I regretted asking reception to print documents: they charged me SGD40 for four pages.

Rooms are very small, though the location on HK Island was all good. Luggage storage was free, but late checkout costs extra for each hour. For traditional dim sum, Lin Heung Tea house is right next door.

Good for a stay by the hour or longer. The room on the top floor has a mirrored ceiling, but you need to request it specially.
