Oriental Lander

There was a lot of noise at night, with doors banging and people talking by the lift. I couldn’t tell if it was guests or staff, but it was really off-putting. Then, near the end of our stay, the lift broke. My mum has a bad knee and had to walk up to the fifth floor and back each day. The hotel didn’t communicate with us or apologize, so I had to arrange for her to stay somewhere else. Kelly was probably the politest staff member, greeted us and explained our stay in detail. The younger staff could use some work on customer service. The room was pretty small. There were two of us in a room meant for three, and it was still cramped with our two medium and two large suitcases.

We made a last-minute booking for the Triple Room in March 2025, after a terrible stay in an apartment where the bathroom was barely bigger than a cat cage. This hotel really saved us. The room was clean and comfortable, with a decent-sized bathroom and reliable hot water. The staff were helpful enough, though nothing extraordinary. We could hear some noise from outside because the room wasn’t fully soundproof, but the location was convenient and the nearest station was just a five-minute walk away. A solid choice if you want a clean, comfortable room.

They kept our deposit even though they promised to return it. When we checked out, they didn’t give our money back. It was around 446HK dollars. Fraud hotel, fraud staff. I want my money back. Poor reception guy.

The location is great and the service was helpful. The room and bathroom were very small, and the place is quite old.
