Hotel Jicaral y Centro de Convenciones

The front desk staff were great, and the place has a nice feel to it. The rooms have been renovated recently and the location is right on the highway. I’d come back, though the food could use some work. There were cats around the pool and tables, which bothered us a bit. Cat lovers may be fine with that, but hotels should stay neutral for guests who aren’t.

They only left two towels even though they knew there were four of us, and there’s no spare toilet paper in the room, so you have to ask if it runs out. Trash isn’t taken away regularly, and if something has been left sitting, they treat it as rubbish. The staff aren’t very attentive.

They need to keep a better eye on the bathrooms, since they don’t always have toilet paper. Room service also threw out food we’d saved in the room to eat later. It wasn’t great.

We felt very safe here, and the staff were friendly with my family. The pool was clean, the drinks were good, and we liked the food at the hotel too. One of the best places my family and I have stayed. I’d recommend it to tourists.
