An unexpected flight layover brought us here for a quick beach trip, and it was exactly what we needed. Everything was clean, the staff were friendly, and the room with its private patio was lovely. There was plenty of space, so the place felt open and private. Very relaxing!

I come here for the food, and dinner in the big palapa by the beach is lovely, with a breeze and sunset views. The shrimp ceviche is delicious, the grilled chicken dinner was very good, and I like the Cobb salad, though I wish they had avocado. Service is excellent, and they have my favorite, watermelon juice. After eating, I like to walk along their huge beach. It's a nice evening in Puerto Cortés. Prices are a bit high compared with nearby places I've tried, and they add a gratuity to the bill.

The location and beach are good, but the hotel itself wasn't worth it for us. We stayed five days without working hot water. The pool was too dirty to use, and management didn't clean it after we asked.

We had a lovely family time in the huts along the beachfront. The live music was a nice touch, and both the food and service were great. A great place to unwind.

Pto. Cortés doesn't have many options, so that's part of the appeal, but the beach isn't clean, bathroom water pressure is basically nonexistent, and the food and drinks are overpriced. At least the beds are comfortable and the A/C works well.
