We came back, and the second visit was even better. There were nine of us, with plenty of space to spread out, cook, eat together at a large table, or settle in with a book. Swimming from the pier was easy and let us avoid the seaweed near shore. It's simply a gorgeous place, one of the most beautiful I've visited.

The view and the place are beautiful, and the beach is easy to reach. We found everything accessible, with restaurants and shops not too far away. It's a great choice for a family gathering, and an especially lovely setting for a small wedding ceremony and photos 😍. If you'd like a chef to come cook at the house for one night or every night, Jenny was amazing 💗. I highly recommend staying here.

I've stayed here about four times and still never want to leave. The house is lovely and has everything, so you don't really need to go out. It's in Sandy Bay, around 15 minutes from the party area and the supermarket, and you can kayak or snorkel nearby.

For our big family trip, ‘Casa De Suenos’ Lawson Rock was just right. We spent a summer week in 2019 with three couples, their teenage kids, and my 80-year-old father. Nobody felt crowded. There was plenty to do indoors and out, and the kitchen gave us a good place to come together for meals. Roatan Vacation Rentals made arranging airport rides for each group easy. They also stocked the house from our pantry list before we arrived, and booked a chef for two nights. We first planned on one night, but the food was so good and there were so many leftovers that we added another. My tip: don't book the chef for your last night. The house and pool were spotless when we got there, and the kitchen had plenty of supplies. Bring your own snorkel gear. I went almost every day in the good snorkeling area just off the house pier. The teens loved using the kayak, and life jackets were provided. Our group went in different directions, but taxis were easy to catch and we could book a van for bigger outings. There's a small market and restaurant in the gated community. We also had a great time walking along the beach to eat at Salty Mango Restaurant, where the fish dishes were fantastic. I couldn't have asked for a better house for a once-in-a-lifetime vacation with a very large family. Don't hesitate to book.
