Hotel and Dive Center Roatan Yacht Club

We didn't stay. After asking for a refund, we left because the room was dirty, hot, musty, and in an area that felt unsafe. We'd just had a long travel day with three kids, and nobody helped with our bags. The AC barely worked, the bathroom had mold and ripped towels, the bedding looked unwashed, and the floor was filthy. The door looked as if it had been kicked in and patched with glue. The second room they offered was just as bad. We found another hotel where we felt safe and welcome and could actually rest. For more than $100 a night, this was a complete waste. It looked nothing like the online photos. I don't usually write long reviews, but I hope this saves another family the headache.

The private beach experience they offer each day was a dream. The whole place had the relaxed, happy feeling we needed, with lovely, clean, spacious grounds. The staff were so helpful and patient with all my questions. Breakfast was included and wonderful, and the drinks were very good too. Nelly and all the staff were lovely. There's also a great supermarket about a minute away if you need anything.

The Dive Center was superb. The crew looked after every diver so well and took care of all the extras. They were especially attentive with anyone feeling anxious, and kept the boat atmosphere upbeat for everyone. Bruce is a patient, intuitive instructor, and I came away with so much confidence in diving and gratitude. We stayed at the Marina rather than the hotel, and the facilities and grounds were fantastic. The food was good and the staff were great. Thank you!

Sitting on the patio, you get lovely views and a breeze coming off the water, with the AC open to it. Incredible spot. The yacht club staff were phenomenal.
