The views from this house are beautiful, and the customer service from Frank Mejia of One Stop Roatan was great too. Loved the place and can’t wait to stay again.

It’s a pleasant, traditional Caribbean-style beach house, though not a modern one. The residential location near West Bay is excellent, with lovely views from the house, dock, and pool area, and it’s quiet enough to rest well. There are several kitchen appliances for making basic meals. A few things to know: the crib rental is $15 per day, but it came without sheets or a comforter, they had no extras when I asked, and it smelled musty. The outdoor ramp leading to the pool has mold and is slippery enough to be dangerous. There are no blackout curtains, so bring your own if you want to sleep past sunrise, which is around 6 am in the Caribbean. Check the pool towels they lend you carefully too. Some were stained, and I worried they might charge me as new ones at checkout if I didn’t inspect them. Even with those issues, it’s a good spot to spend time in Roatán.
