Apart Hotel la Trejo

I found the area safe, and the hotel was comfortable for the price and length of stay. The service is what would keep me from returning. A young man there dressed poorly, seemed angry about his work, was rude, and didn't respond to greetings. I pay for the agreed service and expect respect and courtesy. The staff need training. Even a small hotel should provide quality service.

I was amazed by the good price, and everyone in charge was very friendly. It's a really nice, comfortable place, with clean beds, comfortable mattresses, and air conditioning that works well. I loved staying there, and the service was excellent.

We were turned away with a baby after they failed to honor our reservation. I had booked the same room with two beds and confirmed the day before because I was traveling with my wife and newborn son. At 8 pm, they told us the only room left was number 10, a single bed in a dark, unlit alley. The reservations person said in front of me we could take it or leave it. We didn't both fit with our child, so I had no idea what to do for the night. Luckily, we found a good hotel and got enough sleep to catch our flight home. We had already stayed 2 days there, and the air conditioning was so noisy that it was hard to sleep. On our return, there was no electricity when we arrived, and they had no generator. Once the power came back, this was the room they offered. The photos are misleading, it is a house, not a hotel. Breakfast was bad, and the kitchen utensils leave much to be desired. They didn't care about honoring the reservation and sent a family away. Never stay here.

The food is always ice cold and tastes bad, and their communication needs work. I booked a triple room but was given a quadruple, then they removed one bed from the room without telling me what had happened until 10 pm, when I returned. There were laptops on the beds, and they came in without warning and moved things around. They need to improve their customer service.
