Hilton Princess San Pedro Sula

The room was clean, and the location is great for shopping. It seemed a little sketchy compared with other places, but overall it was great.

The hotel has a traditional, elegant feel, and the service is the kind I love: people remember your name and are very polite. They’re remodeling rooms, and the bathrooms are coming along nicely.

I still haven't received the factura I need to claim reimbursement from my company, and that is why I gave the service and overall experience two stars. I contacted Hilton online and called their US office, but neither could get me a copy. The hotel said on the phone that they'd send it and even confirmed my email address, but nothing has arrived. Apparently the reservation was changed from my name to my business partner's, which may be part of the problem. I stayed one night on a business trip. Traffic from the street made the room noisy, and the air conditioning barely did the job. I also don't get why they use heavy down quilts in warm, tropical places. I've traveled extensively in Mexico and Costa Rica, but this was my first time in Honduras. A Hilton property should still feel like a Hilton property, though, and I need that receipt.

The breakfast had lots of tasty choices, and the staff were helpful and quick. My bed was comfortable, and the hotel is centrally located in San Pedro Sula. I had a pleasant stay.
