A peaceful spot away from downtown noise. The owner is welcoming and attentive without hovering, and there’s Wi-Fi. The place is well kept and quiet, and the posted photos match what you’ll find. Check whether the pool is open, since it may not be available all year.

The meal was the best part, honestly, and the woman running the hotel was so kind. I got in nearly three hours late, around midnight, but she still offered to warm up the food I’d brought. Casa Xochicalco in Tegucigalpa felt really homey. The rooms are roomy and clean, and they clean the bathroom every day until it’s spotless. I’d recommend it if you’re looking for somewhere restful. Thanks so much for being so nice! ♥️
