I went to the desk around 11 Saturday morning without a reservation and asked about a room. The guy just said, “si $118,” and gave me an unpleasant vibe. When I asked about check-in, he said 3 PM. My husband and I explained we needed it sooner to get ready for an event at 2:45, and he replied, “por un costo extra se lo damos antes.” He was curt and rude, so I went to a nearby hotel where the desk person was much nicer. I don’t recommend this place. And why quote prices in dollars when Honduras uses lempiras?

Breakfast is included and good value, and the hotel is conveniently located right behind an accessible mall. There’s no restaurant or dining option for lunch. The gym equipment is in really bad shape and needs to be improved and replaced.

I was happy with my stay at the Comfort Inn from December 25th to 29th, booked through Booking.com. I don’t know the hotel’s earlier names since this was my first visit. The facilities are modern and clean, and the staff were excellent across the board, including the housekeepers and security guards. My arrival was delayed until 7:00 AM on the 26th. I’d sent a message through Booking.com, but the receptionist couldn’t find my reservation at first. They stayed reassuring and efficient, made a few inquiries, and honored the original rate. The room was comfortable and quiet, with a good bed. Breakfast had a wide selection, including fruit and typical Honduran food. The gym is well equipped, and being able to walk straight into Las Cascadas Mall is a real plus. There’s also a shuttle to Palmerola Airport for an extra fee. The one snag was the room Wi-Fi, which was unstable and dropped out now and then. I’d stay here again next time I’m in Tegucigalpa.
