Real Colonial La Casa

I really liked the hotel's cute style and character, but sleep was miserable on three of the four nights I stayed. A loud techno party started in the evening and went on until around 4am. Staff told me there was little or nothing they could do because the people partying in the restaurant area below the rooms were hotel guests. I don't know if that was true, but I was paying for a place to sleep and couldn't do that here. I was told the last night would be quiet, then the music started again at midnight. I packed up and moved to the hotel next door, where it was wonderfully quiet. The higher price there was absolutely worth it.

A small hotel with personal service, and one of the best things about it is breakfast in the morning before checkout. The place brings old Tegucigalpa to mind with its rustic colonial style and art, while offering modern touches like flat screen TVs, fast internet, and spacious rooms. It's a gem.

For the price, we couldn't ask for more. Our very clean room had hot water, a new big screen TV, and pretty artwork on all the walls. They took us to their annex two blocks up the street, which looks like a converted house, hence the name “casa” real colonial. Our rented car was behind a locked gate with a guard. The place was clean, safe, friendly, and inexpensive.

Cozy and comfortable, with really helpful staff. The place is very clean and the bed was comfy. There's a good taco truck across the street with a delicious veggie taco.
