The dock access to the water was a nice feature, but downstairs looked like a construction zone, and the dive shop compressor next door made daytime noise. For around $140 a night, I expected a more comfortable, finished place. Our room was laid out like a small apartment with a kitchen, though the furniture was basically outdoor furniture brought inside instead of proper living room pieces. The harsh white lighting made it feel unpleasant. AC mostly worked, but the bed and general comfort fell short for the price. Housekeeping had to be requested rather than happening automatically. Then on the third day, someone came in without warning. Not a terrible stay, just not worth what we paid.

The peaceful location made it a lovely place to rest, and the view was nice. My room was clean and good for the price, the WiFi worked great, and the lady providing customer service was incredibly friendly, respectful, and eager to help. I’d definitely come back soon :)

We had a great stay. Juana, who manages the property, gives really personal, warm hospitality and goes out of her way to make sure guests have what they need. It’s right in town, so you can walk everywhere. They’re renovating at the moment, and I’m sure it’ll be spectacular once the work is finished. I already think it’s one of the nicer places in Utila.
