We ducked in for a beer and a chance to put our feet up. The staff were kind and helpful, and the place had a lively, eclectic feel that made it easy to relax. It was the off-season, so there wasn't any live music while we were there.

Davor and his family looked after us so well, and their tips for things to do in Istra were great. The hotel has loads of life, especially if you catch him singing with a live band. Add the lovely food, atmosphere, and staff, and it's a beautiful little boutique hotel. Highly recommended.

A lovely spot for a late drink. It feels intimate and cosy, with good wine, a beautiful setting, and a real sense of local culture. One of the best places in town.

The family who run this place are incredibly kind, and the staff, including their two sons, make sure guests are looked after. The food is really good, and there's a great beach about 10-15 minutes away. The rooms feel romantic and cosy, are clean, and fit right in with the house and the village. The setting in the heart of Bale is lovely in its own right. Live music sometimes starts up spontaneously, but it's considerate of the people staying there, so it never gets too loud. The whole place feels a bit magical. I couldn't recommend it more.

We felt so welcome thanks to the warm-hearted staff. It's a charming place with a tucked-away garden. Do try the ice cream with fig jam and olive oil!
