Lovely place and friendly people, but parking gets really bad in the evening. Guests end up searching for about 15 minutes, then parking a 5-10 minute walk away because visitors have taken all the hotel spaces. Minus 10 points for that.

The apartment's size was its one real plus. The rooms seemed neglected, with yellowish sheets and pillows that looked especially unhygienic. The sofa bed in the living room was broken and very uncomfortable. There was no room service; we got clean towels every two days, but not fresh sheets until day seven. We couldn't use the big pool because it was completely packed, so I can't comment on it. The small pool was a letdown: murky yellowish water, yellow lines around the edges, and both ladders broken. Almost all the loungers were damaged, some couldn't be adjusted, and missing boards in the children's wading pool seemed genuinely dangerous. Reception was quick and helpful, and the location is very good, close to the sea and plenty of restaurants. But for the price, we expected much better. There are better choices nearby, and we wouldn't recommend staying here.

We had a large balcony with a good view, a big table and four decent chairs. The bedrooms were well equipped, and there was plenty of crockery, cutlery and cookware, all in excellent shape. In the bathrooms, though, the sink plug was missing and the shower drain cap was loose. The living room furniture was a bigger problem: the armchair upholstery was stained and torn, and the pull-out sofa was damaged and uneven, so sitting on it was uncomfortable. The Wi-Fi had no security at all. The smaller pool we used was busy, about a quarter of its loungers were broken, and both pool ladders felt very wobbly, as if they had been that way for a while. We also heard a lot through the walls and floors, including furniture being moved and loud, drunken parties. That would stop me booking again, though I know it's down to my expectations and neither the owner nor other guests can be blamed for it. The complex is in a great spot, and the reception and cleaning teams were excellent. Bike rental was good too. When we reported the air conditioning wasn't working, it was fixed that same evening. The bar staff seemed a little uninterested, but the effort from everyone else made the service five-star. It's a nice resort, just not what I expected.
