Grand Hotel Slavia

The spa was excellent, really relaxing and worth what it cost, and the food was delicious. The hotel offers good value overall, though restaurant service needs work. Staff cleared other tables but seemed to miss mine, and the food labels weren’t clear, which isn’t ideal if you have dietary requirements. It’s also quite far from Split Airport, with no direct bus connection. A taxi is the best option and costs around €130 each way.

We had a pleasant 10-day stay at the Grand Hotel Slavia. It’s a city hotel rather than a typical holiday resort, and the price feels a little high for the quality. There’s no free parking: the four spaces in front cost 30 EUR per day, while a larger lot about 200 meters away costs 20 EUR per day. The central location is excellent, right across the street from the beach, and the staff were kind and always ready to help. Breakfast is included and well prepared, but there’s no all-inclusive option. Dinner comes as a set menu, nicely done in a very Italian style. Our room was clean, though some areas could use renovation to feel more modern. The SPA was a highlight, with several kinds of saunas, a jacuzzi, and a pool.

We had such an enjoyable stay. The staff and service, location, and atmosphere were all wonderful. I’d recommend this hotel to everybody.

We’d definitely stay again. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, the location and amenities were excellent, and the customer service was great. Thank you to the team. I’d say this property deserves 4+ stars.
