Apartments Mare

Good prices, decent hosts, and a clean, comfortable little apartment.

You can walk to the main pedestrian street of Baska in about five minutes, and the beach is only 200 meters away. There’s a mini market and a bakery along the road, too. Each apartment has a parking space, with two covered spots. The Wi-Fi works reasonably well and the cleaning was good. The woman who manages the place doesn’t speak English.

We came as two families with three small children, and the welcome was difficult because the woman who greeted us didn't speak English. The apartment was cold, never getting above 15 degrees despite heating being advertised. There was just one air conditioner in the living room, and it couldn't warm the back room. We were cold throughout the stay. The bathroom floor was wet with standing water, and the tap leaked from underneath. They left a basket of towels outside the door from time to time, so I had to keep changing them. The air conditioner ran constantly for heat, but it was moldy and looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in years. Even the staircase was cleaner than the apartment. There was only a sheet over the duvet, with no cover. The host wasn't helpful, and replies to our complaints took a day. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

A spacious, modern furnished apartment, clean and beautiful, with air conditioning and a sea view. The hostess was pleasant and nice. Ideal for families with children, I recommend it.
