The younger owner who met us was lovely, friendly, polite and helpful. Our ground-floor apartment was compact and small, but it had everything we needed and was beautifully decorated. The pool was lovely, with a nice selection of different beds around it. There weren't always enough during the busy parts of the day. We enjoyed our stay and would come again.

The photos and promotion don't match what we found. Maybe the place looked that way 10 years ago, but what we experienced was extremely disappointing. The fridge gave off heat instead of keeping things cold, so we had to use our own car refrigerator. The drains were old and dirty and smelled all day, and the bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly. There was rust, scuffed walls and peeling paint. On the balcony, our air-conditioning unit and a neighbor's both put out incredible heat and made it uncomfortable. The seat looked so old and dirty that I was afraid to sit on it. The seats outside by the pool were dirty, worn and old. They should definitely return the money.

The pools were far too cold to swim in. We booked because the listing on Booking said there were two heated pools, but neither was heated.

The host was welcoming, and everything was well organized. A great place.

There was an odd smell in the room. The so-called double bed turned out to be a shabby sofa, with a footprint mark on it.
