I booked through booking.com many weeks ahead, but a few weeks before the trip the owner called and sent several messages asking me to cancel, saying his mother was sick. I eventually cancelled and found somewhere else. Then I visited the apartment and saw another German family there, so it seems he wasn’t telling the truth. I reported it to booking.com and they’ll look into it. I really wouldn’t book here. The owner doesn’t honor a reservation, depending on whether someone offers him more money or is a better friend.

The beach is about a 15-minute walk, and the supermarket is just 5 minutes away on foot. The apartment was really nice, well equipped, and in a completely quiet spot.

Biograd’s quiet side is a lovely place to stay. The apartment was beautiful, highly recommend it.

Everything else was better than good, but the Wi-Fi was a disaster.
