Villa Tanja

Doro was always quick to respond and took great care of us, going well beyond what we expected. The pool and outdoor space were wonderful, and the house was spotless. There are two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen and living room are a little basic, but have what you need, and we didn’t spend much time indoors in the nice weather anyway. The house sits above the town, so the walk back is short but steep. It’s quiet up there, and we came away feeling recharged. A lovely little place for our early September stay. Thanks, Doro!

We had a fantastic week here. After a day at the beach, the pool was a refreshing place to cool off. The beaches are walkable, and you can also use the pair of bikes provided. Doro looked after us so well. A wonderful place to stay in Bol, highly recommended.

The outdoor space was our favorite part, especially the pool and shady lounge area for lazy afternoons. Doro also cooked us a traditional barbecue one evening, which was the best meal and experience we had in Bol. The place is a gem on a small hill, a short walk from the main strip, so it’s peaceful while still being near restaurants and nightlife. We especially liked Ribarska Kućica, Argento, and nearby Konoba Dišpet. There are two bedrooms on the second and third floors, each with a separate bathroom and working air conditioning. The interior is simple but functional and very clean. You can tell the place, from the wooden staircases to the green garden, is cared for with love. We loved Bol and would recommend Doros place to a family or two couples looking for a relaxing stay with a bit of character.

This was our third time at Villa Tanja, and it was perfect again. The house, the view, and the private pool are amazing. Our four-year-old had so much fun he didn’t want to leave. It’s our favorite holiday spot in Europe, and we can’t wait to come back :)
