Apartments Milka

Being near the beach and away from the noisy, crowded city center was a plus. The rooms felt like something from Poland 20 years ago. The owner’s attention to guests was poor, really almost absent. It felt like they just wanted to take our money for the stay and leave it at that.

Boris was very nice, and the rooms were clean and had air conditioning. The place is at the end of Novlija, so it’s quiet and close to Babe Beach. The shower is very small and uncomfortable, and sitting on the terrace in bright sun is difficult because there are no awnings.

We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and having meals on the balcony, especially breakfast with that lovely sea view. All the rooms have balconies, but we lucked into what I think was the best view. The apartment was spacious, clean and well looked after, with everything we needed to cook. The bathroom was simple and spotless. There was no shower curtain, but that didn’t bother us since the water dried quickly. We also had a great barbecue in the garden’s grilling area, with olive trees around. It’s only a few meters from the beach, about a two-minute walk, and you can see the sea from the balcony. The town center, shops and tourist spots are close too, perhaps a relaxed ten-minute walk along the beach. We’d definitely recommend Milka Apartments. Kind regards, Florian

The location is great, near the sea and shops but away from the center’s bustle. These are simple apartments, kept in very good condition, and the prices are reasonable. The landlord was friendly, replied quickly to emails, and spoke Croatian along with very good German, English and Italian.
