Sunceva Postelja Apart Hotel

I appreciated how thoughtfully the building sits within its surroundings, and the apartment had all the equipment I needed. The kitchen was especially useful since I like having the choice to cook or eat out. For such a popular place, the prices seemed fair even in high season. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Brela, Omiš, or the area around them.

The staff were nice, the apartments really clean, and the beds were excellent. The sea view is amazing, it’s quiet, and the nearby beaches and sea are lovely. Breakfast is good enough for the price too. Still, at this price I expected things to be closer to perfect. The room’s kitchen dishes weren’t properly clean, even though there’s a dishwasher, perhaps because no tablets are provided. The shower holder was broken and hasn’t been fixed. The restaurant menu is limited, and there are better places to eat in Brela.

We had a really good time here for a few days during our vacation. The hotel is clean, the staff are friendly, and the sea and beach access are great. We loved the view, and our apartment had a kitchen with a working stove, fridge, and dishwasher. The air conditioning worked too, which was a lifesaver. For breakfast, we missed having something sweet. Pancakes or waffles with fresh fruit would be nice, since we didn’t want eggs every morning. For dinners, it would help to know the menu in advance, and to have a few choices, including a vegetarian option without meat. The meat dinners were hard for us to digest on so many hot days. A cocktail of the day would be great as well.

The setting is peaceful and right by the beach promenade, with lovely scenery close by. It’s a charming hotel and the service feels personal and good. My one reservation was the rather modest breakfast and food. ☺️
