Hotel Vallum

Those Cavtat views made every morning and sunset feel special. We stayed in a spacious, modern duplex at Hotel Vallum, and it was kept immaculate with daily housekeeping. The staff were warm and thoughtful, from sharing local tips to taking care of the little things. One of my best travel experiences, and I’d happily recommend it for the scenery, comfort, and service.

The area was wonderfully peaceful, with nature around us and the sea just down the small stairs by the hotel exit. The room felt luxurious, especially the bed, and sunrise through the big panoramic windows was a dream. Everything was spotless, the AC and amenities worked well, and I loved having a quiet afternoon aperitif by the small pool. There’s a nice bar on site, a private garage, and taxis nearby, which made getting around easy. I’d absolutely return. It’s a memorable, safe, convenient place to stay.

We loved how quiet the area was, with lovely nature and friendly people. Cavtat marina is about a 20-minute coastal walk, with bars, restaurants, and little beaches along the way. The hotel itself is modern and spacious, with really comfortable beds, attentive staff, a small gym, and indoor parking. The beach is only a two-minute walk away, and you can rent kayaks or boats to explore the islands. For lunch, we had a great outing by boat, just five minutes, to St Pietro on a remote, idyllic island. The scallops, fresh wild fish, and cuttlefish black risotto were wonderful. We’ll definitely come back.

Right by the sea, in a great spot. The hotel is brand new, and the apartments are roomy, modern, and comfortable. We’re already looking forward to returning. Definitely recommend it.
