Villa Adria Apartments

Villa Adria charmed me. I only stayed one night because I wanted somewhere pleasant and handy for my morning flight, but I loved Civat too. Walking into town is downhill, and coming back uphill, so those of us able to manage the walk can earn supper at one of the many restaurants or a pastry from the bakery at the bottom of the path. After a week of travel and parking hassles, having on-site parking, comfy pillows, good shower pressure, a fridge in the room, and kitchen facilities felt like a dream.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The host was friendly and helpful, and even offered to help me get to the airport if my Bolt transfer didn’t turn up at 4 a.m. That made me feel safe. I do wish I’d been given clearer arrival directions in a message on Booking.com. The property is near the town entrance, almost across from the bus stop, about a 2 minute walk away. Following Google Maps took me to another part of Cavtat, and I ended up walking uphill for 20 minutes in the heat. At check-in the host asked why I hadn’t contacted him beforehand. I would have appreciated more proactive communication, since many hosts send this kind of useful information ahead of time and it makes arrival easier.

I enjoyed staying at Villa Adria. It’s about 10 minutes from downtown and close to the airport, so I could get some rest and prepare to continue my trip to Medjugore :)). The host was friendly and very helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Adria. The rooms were spacious, really nice, and very clean. Our hosts were welcoming, sweet, and helpful. It was a pleasant visit, and I highly recommend the place :)
