Villa Magnolia

We stumbled on this Cavtat gem by chance and ended up with an awesome place for our vacation. Villa Magnolia is right in the middle of Old Cavtat, with restaurants and shops just two minutes down the steps. We also recommend the beach on the north side of the peninsula, less than a five-minute walk from the house. Our family found it one of the best houses we’ve stayed in. There are three levels and four bedrooms, plus a kitchen and living room, and a bathroom on the ground floor, so there’s plenty of room. The bedrooms are lovely, comfortable, and have gorgeous views. There are two bathrooms with showers, so no need to take turns. The courtyard garden is beautiful, with foliage and a striking Magnolia tree. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner under it. The host was excellent and welcoming. One of our kids broke a glass lamp, and although we offered to replace it, the host said it wasn’t necessary and no big deal. If we return to Cavtat, Villa Magnolia will be our first choice.
