We had to book at the last minute after our flight was canceled, and weren’t sure where to stay, but we enjoyed this place more than we expected. It’s less than 10 minutes from Dubrovnik airport and easy to reach by car. The seating area alongside the bedroom was nice, and parking was easy and free, a huge bonus for us. We were also surprised by the decent view of the mountains and water. We didn’t use the hot tub, but we did try the sauna. Restaurant By The Way was about a 6-minute walk away, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal there. You can hear planes because it’s so close to the airport. That didn’t bother us since we sleep with a sound machine, but it’s something to keep in mind if airplane noise would bother you.

We stayed in late September and the airport noise wasn’t intrusive, though the apartments are under the flight path to Dubrovnik airport. It’s a quiet, relaxing self-catering place with fantastic views. The apartments are very well maintained and appointed.

Anita was super friendly, and the facilities were nice and tidy. We enjoyed Villa Markoc, which is within walking distance of Cavtat pier. One thing I’d suggest is letting guests know there’s no housekeeper. We stayed two nights and the room wasn’t cleaned, but otherwise everything was nice. I’d recommend it. La Bohome was the best restaurant 😋👌

We only spent one night at Villa Markoc because we had to change our flights. The apartments were spacious enough and had everything we needed, though we didn’t use the pool, sauna, or other facilities during our short stay. The turtles in the garden were cute and added a nice touch. If you’re not used to planes flying over the property, this might not be the apartment for you. Otherwise, there wasn’t really anything to complain about. Very nice place and lovely staff :)

We booked through Booking.com, but on the morning we were due to arrive, the owner called to say she had no room for us. She told us to find somewhere else, with no apology, and came across as arrogant. She even suggested we could sleep by the pool if we wanted. In high season it’s quite hard to find somewhere at the last minute.
