Hotel Kimen - Annex

Everyone, including the other guests, greeted me with a smile. The staff were an absolute delight. I was at Hotel Kimen for work, but the peaceful setting, clean rooms and tidy grounds already have me planning a return trip to Cres. Breakfast had options for people avoiding gluten and dairy, like me. It would be helpful if the breakfast labels also listed allergens. Thanks, and see you soon!

The food was nicely presented in a spacious hall, and staff were on hand to help. There was a rich choice at every meal, laid out to make it easy to serve yourself. The welcoming, caring team, from reception and the waiters to the bartenders and management, were always smiling. This three-star hotel has a very nice feel, and its location, service and architecture put it among the best experiences on the Island of Cres. Its quality and progress, together with the customer service, already bring it up to the level of a four-star hotel. Preparations for the 2026 season are in full swing. I’ll be back. The atmosphere was great, and I enjoyed the whole feel of the place. I booked just one night while travelling, but now I don’t feel like leaving. There’s room for improvement, though. The area set aside for a swimming pool and sauna is there, but those facilities aren’t in place yet.

There’s lots of room for kids to play, lovely walking paths among the pines, and a safe beach close by. The food was tasty, with a good choice for both adults and children, and the staff were kind and helpful. Hotel Kimen is peaceful and clean, ideal for a relaxing family holiday. It’s set in nature, steps from the beach and a short walk from the charming town of Cres. A great place for families who want to unwind and enjoy the island’s natural beauty.
