Simply no. The room feels like a converted cellar, which would be fine if it didn’t constantly smell damp. Housekeeping was poor, the place was neglected, and the host was completely indifferent. It could ruin your holiday. The bed had a lovely dirty topper, and a large, obvious rag was sloppily taped to the headboard. There were four glasses on the empty fridge, clearly used and unwashed, sitting on a placemat with old stains that had become part of the fabric’s pattern. We washed the glasses ourselves with bathroom soap, except there wasn’t any. They’d diluted the remnants of the only liquid hand soap with water. We tried to forget it and take a shower, but the shower tray was cracked and leaked, flooding the bathroom. Four of the six towels ended up being used to soak up the water. After every shower, every day, we had to wash them by hand with our own shower gel and dry them. At Room Erika, there’s always another adventure: how many things will be in the fridge, what’s wrong with the toilet seat, and will there be toilet paper? That could almost be an attraction, except it isn’t free. Worst of all was the host. For three days, I repeat, THREE DAYS, she just fobbed us off with a few weak, convenient replies and stalled, without ever actually coming by or doing anything. We didn’t hear from her about checkout either. Total indifference. We could have taken a door away and she wouldn’t even have noticed. Lucky her.

The garden has so many cats that the smell gets pretty strong. That's the one downside for me.

After a long trip in the heat, finding cold drinks included in the room price was a real treat. The room was comfortable, and they even left a magnet as a little extra.

It's peaceful despite being right by the harbor, and the property is kept up beautifully with everything we needed. The beach is five minutes away, while the sea is just 20 meters off. There's a bank 5 meters away and the closest restaurant is 15 meters away.
