Adriatic Resort Apartments

The apartment felt far from luxurious and was a little dirty. The old sofa was hard as a rock, the toilet seat was smaller than the toilet, and cameras were in the apartment. The Wi-Fi only worked in the kitchen, and the hot tub didn’t heat its water. There wasn’t enough hot water for three people to shower. The sea view was barely there, as the photo shows. There was no parking or pool, and reaching the beach took about ten minutes down a steep hill and roughly 50 stairs. Advertising this as a luxury apartment for seven feels like false advertising all around.

We had to switch apartments because the availability on booking.com wasn’t shown correctly. The hostess and other staff were never around, and they didn’t answer calls or emails. The second apartment had mold and a terrible smell, so we tried to cancel, but they wouldn’t refund us even though we hadn’t signed anything or received a receipt. The beach was a long way from the resort, and some apartment facilities didn’t work properly. The sink pipes kept leaking, so we had to call a plumber several times. The apartment itself was nice, but the whole experience was terribly disappointing. I don’t recommend it.

The apartment itself was lovely and met my expectations during my week there. The problem is the resort’s website advertises lots of pools and sports facilities, and while those do exist, guests in these apartments aren’t legally allowed to use them. That’s clearly misleading, especially when they charge prices you’d expect if access to all the facilities were included.

It’s not the resort you might expect. You’re basically staying in an old, worn shopping alley, and the photos they post are of places around the area that have nothing to do with this property. I didn’t check the Google reviews before booking on booking.com. This feels like a scam. It’s not a resort.
