We could manage without a car from this central spot, and found it easier and nicer to explore on foot or by boat. Pile entrance, with public transport and taxis, is only a few minutes' walk away. The apartment itself has great Wi-Fi, A/C, and a fully equipped kitchen. Its windows open onto buzzing Stradun/Main Dubrovnik street, right in the heart of Dubrovnik's Old Town. During the day there's a relaxed feel, beaches and swimming, and water sports; at night it's lively, with good food, island hopping, and boat taxis to Cavtat, which we highly recommend visiting. Konzum (Gundulićeva Poljana) and Pemo (Antuninska Ulica) are handy for groceries. We also found the lovely Pizzeria "Ispod MIRA" right next to “Buža" bar, and both are worth a visit.
