The owners gave us plenty of space, but were very sweet and helpful. They left coffee and breakfast snacks each day, and offered fresh garden fruit when it was in season. They also shared visitor guides and good ideas for seeing the old town. Free parking is a short walk down the steps, which worked well with our rental car, and the owners explained how to find it. We used the car for day trips to the Pelješac pennisula, Cavtat, and even Mount Srd. It's a great little place for a Dubrovnik visit, especially if you're planning to drive around the area. The place is also a relatively short walk (

The hosts were kind and welcoming from the minute we arrived. They offered us snacks and drinks while suggesting places to visit, then brought coffee and something to eat for breakfast each day. Their homegrown tomatoes were delicious. We had a lovely holiday in Dubrovnik and would highly recommend this beautiful little place.

The host was so friendly and helpful, with lots of recommendations, including for the next stops on our road trip. We had a spacious room with new furniture and a place to sit outside. Fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden, free private parking, and a surprise breakfast with great coffee were all nice extras. The price was good for expensive Dubrovník. There were drawbacks: ants came in through several spots in the living room and got into our bags. The Wi-Fi was very weak, and there was no ventilation in the toilet. Parking is free, but it's many stairs away, so keep that in mind with heavy luggage. There was also too much fuss over our things, which got moved around. Dubrovník is expensive. For a cheaper meal, try shared jumbo pizza at Pizzeria Tabasco, or pick up local specialties at the nearby market and have them with local wine on the terrace. I'd also recommend boat trips around the nearby islands. They often include lunch and aren't too expensive, for example, 300 HRK for a three-island round trip with lunch and pickup.

A lovely, quiet place, and well worth the climb up all those stairs to get there!

The garden is beautiful, and the owner is so friendly. It felt like a home away from home.
