Getting to the old town takes a long time, but I liked the place.

It's quiet here, and for Dubrovnik the price is reasonable. The apartment is spacious, large, and clean. There's a shop nearby, plus a bus stop for the city centre, where the bus stops right at the Pila Gate in the Old Town. If you have time or like walking, the Old Town is about 30-40 minutes away. The entrance has a parking area shaded by a kiwi tree and a locked gate. The owner is friendly and happy to help, while giving you space.

The owner is kind and helpful without hovering, and the apartment is remarkably clean and well cared for. Everything smelled fresh. There are two bedrooms with comfortable double beds, and it's peaceful enough to sleep well. One bedroom opens onto a balcony for coffee or drying clothes. The kitchen has what you need to cook, plus a kettle and microwave. The bathroom is equipped, there's a washing machine for longer stays, enough towels, and even a TV if you feel like watching it 😅. I walked to Lapad beach at an easy pace in about 15 minutes and took a taxi to Pilo. For Du, having your own parking spot in the shade of a green kiwi tree is a big plus, so you don't need to use the car to tour the city. Definitely a good, safe place to stay.

At 10:15 in the morning, an impatient elderly lady with a wrinkled face kicked us out of the apartment, saying it had to be clean.
