Apartment Marieta

The apartment was clean and modern, with comfortable-sized beds and bedrooms. There was plenty of useful information left out, including maps, and the television was fully equipped. The air conditioning worked well in the hallways and living room. The location was fairly quiet until our last night, and suited young, fit people or anyone able to take taxis. We'd rate it three stars. A few things need attention: some utensils were dirty and rusting, the ceilings were low enough that I kept hitting my head, and there was no air conditioning in the bedrooms, which made them warm and uncomfortable. One bedroom also lacked a blackout blind, so it got very bright. The cupboards had only coffee, oil, and balsamic vinegar. The check-in time was confusing. We thought it was 1 PM because the apartment fridge rules said so, but were told 2 PM. Check-out at 10 AM felt very early compared with the 11 AM to 2 PM times we see at most apartments. When we asked, we were told cleaning takes four hours, which seemed a bit unreasonable to us. This place isn't suitable for disabled guests, and anyone who struggles with stairs should know there are around 90 steep steps to reach the beach.
