Apartment Reale - One Bedroom Apartment With Balcony and Sea View

The apartment view was amazing, and the owner was really nice and friendly. We had a great stay, everything was clean and taken care of. Loved it, highly recommend 👌

The apartment was modern, squeaky clean, and had everything we needed, including basic kitchen utensils, bathroom essentials, WiFi, Netflix, fresh fruit, and complimentary wine. Our host was brilliant, easy to communicate with, and full of advice about places to visit. There was also a small local shop about 100 yards away. It had very little stock, but the essentials were there. We booked the sea view apartment through Airbnb and really enjoyed our stay. The views were beautiful, the weather was amazing, and Old Town was easy to reach, either by a 4-minute Uber ride for roughly €4-6 or a 10-minute walk. In the heat, that walk felt like it cost 700 calories 😄🌞. The hard part was getting to the apartment. It’s at the top of a steady slope on a very narrow road, with cars parked on both sides, which made going up and down a pain. Apparently locals and Uber drivers hate that road. During our 4-day stay in Dubrovnik, about 15 drivers cancelled on us. Aside from that, it was awesome, and I’d recommend the place and stay again.

We spent 4 nights here with 2 families, and the hygiene was absolutely disgusting. The cutlery was rusty and unusable. The beds were old, and the springs dug into my back when I slept. There was no light in the second bathroom, so we had to use our mobile phone for light. We raised these problems with the property owner, who wouldn’t accept our complaints. We’ve escalated the matter to the booking agency because we feel this property shouldn’t be listed on any booking site.

The host was super helpful and went above and beyond for us. This is one of the nicest apartments I’ve stayed in!
