The beds were a real problem for us. The mattresses were lumpy, and the beds squeaked whenever you moved even a little. In the en-suite room, the king bed was made up of two single mattresses, which led to a lot of sleepless nights. The main bathroom is tiny, which is awkward when more than two people are sharing, and its door didn't lock. They'd said toiletries would be provided, but they weren't, so I was glad we'd brought our own. The apartment is lovely and well placed near the beach, on the outskirts of Dubrovnik in Lapad, where there are lots of shops, bars, and restaurants. The bus stop is two minutes away, and bus no. 4 gets you to Dubrovnik's Old Town in about 10 minutes. The owners were lovely and very helpful. We hadn't realized payment had to be in cash, but that wasn't the owners' fault, it was the booking company. The apartment seems lovely overall, but we felt the owners needed to pay more attention to the details.

There's a bright, comfortable living room and balcony, and plenty of space. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a supermarket downstairs. Friendly staff, too. The beach, restaurants, and shopping streets are all close by, and bus number 4 gets you to the old town in 15 minutes.
