Apartments Bottega

The location is amazing, and Old town is beautiful. I spent three nights here and had a great stay. Room 17 was clean, comfortable and nice, with AC that worked well. The host gave clear directions and recommended some out-of-the-way parking lots. I chose the cheapest one, took an Uber in for 9€, then walked back out in 20 minutes. The stairs are part of getting anywhere there, so be ready for them and don’t bring heavy bags. I’d definitely come back. I’m not sure about the old reviews, but this room was perfect for one or two people.

There are three accommodations, and we got the ground-floor room. The sound insulation is so poor that we could hear almost everything from the people upstairs. It felt like we were in the same room, so we couldn’t rest.

You need to climb 72 steps to reach the apartment, so think twice. The place was very damp: the floor was wet when we arrived and still wet when we left. There’s no ventilation, and I’m unsure what kind of regulations it meets.

We were warmly welcomed and given lots of useful tips for visiting Dubrovnik. The accommodation was clean, bright and very well located. We didn’t have any humidity problems, unlike some other reviews.
