Apartments Cable car

The garden has a magnificent view of the old town. I could sit there with wine or fruit and enjoy the scenery for ages. Getting down on foot to the old town by the water is tiring, though, so you need to take the cable car. The rooms are on the small side, but there’s a kitchen and a washing machine. The owner looks after the place and seems to live quite far away. If something goes wrong, he’ll drive over to help, and he also offers airport transfers. He’s cheerful, but can be a little lax. Anyone expecting Japanese-style service may find that frustrating. It’s a good fit if you’re after a relaxed, longer stay.

The apartment is lovely and was very clean when we arrived, but watch out for ants, even in the bed. There also isn’t space in the garage for a car.

The yard is tidy, with a table and chairs where you can relax in the sun. Parking is secure in a separate lot, and they even let us leave the car until cleaning time the next day. The cable car and airport bus stops are only 30 seconds from the property, and it’s close to Old Town and the start of the castle tour. The owner is genuinely friendly, and the place is great for a relaxed stay in Dubrovnik. The sofa is cleaner and simpler than the tacky one shown in the photo. There’s a washing machine and detergent too, which was handy. I’ll book here again on my next visit and recommend it to friends.
