Apartments Luce & Toma

After long days exploring Dubrovnik, we loved relaxing on the shaded terrace. The beach and the Polce Gate of the Old Town are just a few minutes away, though Ulica Buica is a staircase with lots of steps down to the Old Town, so keep that in mind. The apartment was clean and quiet, with good bedding and towels, a fully stocked kitchen, a washing machine, and a drying rack. Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish. We really enjoyed our stay and had no other drawbacks.

The host was welcoming, quick to respond, and easy to communicate with. We had a wonderful stay in this spacious, well-kept apartment. The little terrace has a beautiful sea view, the bedding is comfortable, and everything was clean. The air conditioning and appliances all worked perfectly. Banje beach is just down the stairs, and the old town is a five-minute walk away. I'd highly recommend it for its comfort and ideal location.

The service was awful, and I certainly wouldn't stay here again. The apartment was dirty, and when we reported it, the manager sent someone else to inspect it because they live in another city. That person came to look at the shower, which had no water. They first blamed the water pressure, then saw that the showerhead was broken. We were told it would be fixed the next day and that they'd call first, but we waited almost a week with no call and no repair. We also reported a large number of insects inside, especially concerning with our small child, but were told that insects were normal in the Mediterranean climate and to ignore them. The only air conditioning was by the entrance, so it didn't reach the bedroom or living room. The accommodation is high up and requires stairs both up and down, making it unsuitable for wheelchair users, older people, or strollers.
