Apartments Marin

Our showers lasted no more than two minutes before the water turned cold. We told both the agency and the host, but nothing was done, and they offered no compensation at all. It left us feeling as if they thought it was our fault.

The room was clean and had a kitchen, which made it easy to save money. But the view from the marin was so amazing that I think I spent more time there than in town. Ivo was kind and hospitable, easily the best host. Be ready for the stairs, though. Climbing them takes a lot of stamina, especially if you go up and down several times. I was exhausted! 🥴 One review mentioned hot water. The water heater is in the room, so as long as you turn it off, there’s no problem getting hot water.

We had a great stay, and everything worked properly, including the water and appliances. The accommodation sits in the hills above Dubrovnik, with a breathtaking view of the city, the fort and the sea. We could look at it for ages. The flower-filled setting was charming, with a little terrace and a shaded garden. The welcome was warm, and the instructions were very clear, both in messages and from the staff on site. A good level of English is preferable. The Old Town, fort, sea and cable car are all within walking distance. Our stay was short, but we’d be delighted to come back to the city, or even this apartment. Photos from the bedroom window are attached.

We couldn’t use our reservation because of a sudden illness, but the landlord was very accommodating. It’s a beautiful apartment with an incredibly stunning view over Dubrovnik.
