Apartments Ranieri Kono

We left without staying, even though it was already very late for the kids. The owner said we could cancel and get our money back, so I did, but in the morning they marked us as a no-show and have kept the payment for all three unused nights. Their messages were extremely rude. Getting into the apartment was a mess. The owner sent no check-in details and didn't answer calls until 11pm, so neighbors who'd had the same problem the night before helped us guess which unlocked apartment might be ours. It looked as if someone had been inside. The air conditioner then blew hot air into the room where I was putting the baby to sleep, and we couldn't change the temperature. This was a nightmare during an otherwise lovely trip through Croatia, and our neighbors had the same experience. The apartment also didn't match the photos. The owner eventually confirmed at 11pm that we had the right flat, so it seemed the pictures were fake or taken somewhere else. I don't believe the good reviews are genuine.

The photos don't capture how lovely this apartment is. It has gorgeous views over the ocean and Old City. It's just off the main street, down a small driveway. If you're considering it, don't wait!

The studio was nice, and you can walk to the old city without going too far. Just be ready for a lot of stairs, your calves will feel it! The door lock was the one issue, it took 2-4 minutes to get in or out. I guess they might sort it out after high season.

Parking is right by the apartment door, which is a real help in Dubrovnik since you don't have to leave the car and carry all your things to the hotel. The place is very nice, near the road into Dubrovnik, and the owner was friendly with excellent service. Strongly recommend it.
