Hotel Aquarius

My room was ready when I arrived, even though I was early, and the staff were extremely nice and helpful. The pool was peaceful and exquisite, while the garden and pool area were lovely for cooling off and relaxing after lots of walking in the sun. This small boutique hotel is in a great spot, close to restaurants, the beach, a seaside trail, shops, and a supermarket. Great value.

The staff were friendly, and breakfast was great, apart from the wasps on the ham. The pool was nice, too. There aren’t great views right at the hotel, though it’s not far to find them, and an Uber takes about 10 minutes to reach the old town. The rooms are quite small. There’s a ceiling light that can’t be turned off, and when the window shutters are open they bang against the balcony loudly and at an awful speed.

The hotel is really well located and has the best pool. More than that, the team at Aquarius treated us like family while we were dealing with a major emergency during our five-day stay. The young woman who welcomed us went above and beyond to handle our somewhat complicated needs, and the amazing Stepan kept checking that we were comfortable. The staff couldn’t have been more caring or helpful. Well done, team Aquarius.

We had a great stay, and I’d highly recommend it. The Reception and Restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful with advice and tips. The food was lovely and cooked fresh to order. We were half board and ordered dinner the night before, so it was ready when we arrived. Breakfast was a buffet with plenty to eat before heading out for the day.
