The host was so, so sweet, and the rooms were really clean. We had a lovely short stay, right in a very central spot.

The little terrace with its ocean view was perfect for breakfast and an afternoon snack. The owner was lovely, gave us lots of tips, and made coffee in the morning. It’s a cozy, romantic place just outside the old town, away from the big crowds, and close to the bus stop by the base of the cable car. From there it’s about a three-minute walk to the apartment. The bus can take you to the airport or central bus station. As in many places in Dubrovnik, there are stairs, around 30 from the street up the hill to the apartment, so you have to carry your luggage.

The outdoor terrace is nice, though there were lots of mosquitoes, and the bathroom door is just a small wooden panel that doesn’t close properly. The room was clean, and the host was friendly and easy to reach. It’s handy for the airport bus, and about a five-minute walk to the city gate or old center, with plenty of stairs on the way.

The location was great, and the host was so kind. She even brought us coffee while we sat on her beautiful balcony. My favorite place we’ve stayed on this trip!

Clean, safe and quiet, with both the bus station and old town nearby. There are also plenty of great restaurants close by. Lovely stay, and a great host.
